Have you ever tasted something that simply blew your mind? That’s how our team felt when we had the privilege of tasting Madeira with J Henahan of Haus Alpenz before opening Bûcheron. Since that unforgettable experience, our appreciation for Madeira has only deepened, and pairing its various styles with both savory and sweet dishes has become a nightly ritual.

For this special menu, our chefs will venture beyond our usual French-American cuisine with dishes that draw global influences, all crafted to showcase the versatility of this remarkable fortified wine. Hospitality and spirits expert J Henahan from Haus Alpenz will join us to pour and discuss the fascinating history and nuanced complexities of Madeira, promising an evening of delightful learning and satisfaction.

Bûcheron, which translates to ‘lumberjack’ in French, features French-American cuisine while drawing inspiration from the skill and craftsmanship of generations of lumberjacks who worked and lived in our home state of Minnesota.
